St. Mary's English Church (Varanasi)

St. Mary's English Church, Cantonment (1810) - CNI (Church of North India).
This beautiful and oldest church of Varanasi is located on the confluence of The Mall Road and Stranger Road in Cantonment Region.
The foundation stone was laid on 29th April 1810 by Daniel Corrie. The Church was completed in 1812 but was not consecrated until 1824 by Bishop Heber
St. Mary’s is probably the oldest Protestant Church in North India outside Calcutta.
