This is the Amtrak station for Tampa, Florida, station code TPA.

Tampa currently receives two Amtrak "Silver Star" passenger trains daily, one northbound for New York City and one southbound to Miami.

Tampa passengers can also connect to the northbound "Silver Meteor" in Orlando (ORL) via Amtrak Thruway Motorcoach. Tampa serves as the transfer hub for Thruway Motorcoach connections to the "Silver Star" from St. Petersburg (STP), Bradenton (BDT), Sarasota (SRA), Port Charlotte (PCH), and Fort Myers (FTM).

Built in 1912 to serve the Atlantic Coast Line, Seaboard Air Line, and Tampa Northern Railroads, Tampa's Union Station is expected to be involved in the ares's future light rail or commuter train projects. The stately facility was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.
