Eastside Oklahoma City is a diverse area bouonded by Intersate 40/35 on the south, I-35 on the east, I-235 on the west and I-44 on the north. The Eastside Core is the center of african-american culture in Oklahoma City. The Core stretches primarily from Lincoln Blvd. on the west to I-35 on the east and NE 4th on the south and NE 36th on the north and includes the majority of the central area of the community, although a few neighborhoods north and west of these boundaries are included. Also within the Eastide is the Oklahoma State Capitol Campus on the western boundary, and the Oklahoma Health Center on the southwest which includes the campuses of the OU Medical Center. The area includes two industrial districts, the Santa Fe Industrial District on the northwest, and the East Reno Corridor on the south, although East Reno also includes a small hospitality district with hotels such as the Bricktown Hotel and Covention Center (ironicly not located in Bricktown). On the northeast boundary is the Adventure District, home several attractions popular with locals and tourists alike, including the Oklahoma City Zoo, Science Museum Oklahoma, 45th Infantry Division Museum, Remington Park racetrack and casino, and the ASA Softball Hall Of Fame and Stadium the annual host of the Women's College World Series and World Cup of Softball.
