13-story early-modern residential building completed in 1955. Designed by Leon & Lionel Levy, it is clad in reddish-brown brick. The ground floor along the avenue is lined with varied storefronts. The main entrance is roughly centered on the north facade on 39th Street, with a glass door, sidelights, and window set in a black polished granite section. A pointed, red canvas canopy extends from the doorway out over the sidewalk. There are storefront show-windows on either side. The upper floors on the north facade have four bays of tripartite windows, plus a single-window bay at the east end. Metal air-conditioning vents are located below each tripartite window.

The long east facade on the avenue has, from south to north, a tripartite window, two single-windows, two tripartite windows, two more single-windows, two more tripartite windows, two single-windows, a tripartite window, a single-window, a bay of smaller bathrooms windows, and another single-window.

The building contains 168 apartment units. The ground floor is occupied by Sachi Asian Bistro, 701 Blue Nails, Cambidge Cleaners & Valets, Danish Gourmet Grill, and on the west end of the north facade, East Side Barber Shop.
