Riverview is an unincorporated township and Census Designated Place in Hillsborough County in the U.S. state of Florida. Riverview is a rapidly growing suburb of the city of Tampa.

The Riverview name first came into usage in the early 1940's. Some of Riverview's settlers include the Bourgees, Boyettes, Hackneys, Mansfields, Moodys, Scotts, Thompsons, Whitts, and the Yeomans. The area founded by the Boyette family is now Boyette, Florida.
