Seffner is an unincorporated township and Census-Designated Place in Hillsborough County, in the U.S. state of Florida.

Seffner serves as a suburban haven for commuters into downtown Tampa, which lies approximately 15 miles east. Characterized by towering live oak trees, strawberry farms and pristine lakes, this small town had its beginnings before 1884, by which time its first post office had been established, with a railroad depot soon to follow. The once rural community has recently seen upscale, gated subdivisions transform it into a suburban landscape.

The population was 5,467 at the 2000 census, based on a total area of 3.7 sq mi (9.7 km2). However, the CDP area defined by the U.S. Census Bureau differs from the area covered by Seffner's ZIP codes (33584 & 33583), which extend into the CDPs of Mango and Thonotosassa. For example, Armwood High School is located in the boundaries of Mango but has a Seffner address.
