From "The History of Tervel and the Tervel Region" (2007):
7. Rock hermitage "Haidushkite kashti" near the village of Golesh, Silistra Region. It is located on the left bank of the Suha River opposite an early Byzantine fortress from the IV-VI century. It includes a rock church and two cells located on two levels. On the lower level is the church, which is easily accessible with dimensions 3.90 X 2.20 m. On the east wall there are grooves for attaching an altar table. The cells on the second floor are difficult to access, but well shaped and plastered with lime mortar. Graffiti drawings and signs testify to re-use in the tenth century.
Not to be confused with the rock monastery "Haidushki Kashti" near the village of Varbino!
