  Do you enjoy being herded? Do you think driving nails through your privates is fun?! Do you want to be a real clock-sucker when you grow up?!! Then come out of the cold -- right, this way -- Honeywell is the place for you! Writing avionics code is no simple task. The software must be exacting and precise and if you're an eager nation looking to upgrade those bits and bytes to solid code compiled right here in the Good 'ol US of goddamned A #1 then you will want to talk to the people here. Some of the engineers like to brag about how perfect their code has become, and it is probably true. They also probably think that "Garfield" is hilarious and that Fox News is the greatest. If you had decades to build software, an uninspired heard of farm animals to program, and an unlimited budget you too can avoid the avionic equivalent of the BSoD. There are certainly downsides, such as docking your pay when you leave for lunch. Or the oppressive culture and constant bean counting. Have a problem with your email? Talk to the person in India. Being beat down is the norm. Father Honeywell knows best. Give us your heart so we can have you by the balls. And NO T-shirts allowed! We don't want customers of some foreign country to think that there is any kind of joy or genuine human interest went into their product
