Built in the late 1930's.
Had 14 stories, a shocking height for Bucharest at the time.
The building fell to the earthquake of 10 November 1940, witnesses telling a terrifying scene: the shorter wing of the building collapsed very quickly and the tower was broken in half falling on the boulevard.
