Murray Hill is a small residential sub-neighborhood located within the Flushing neighborhood, itself located in the northern part of the New York City borough of Queens. Traditionally the home of families of Irish and Italian immigrants, many Korean and Chinese immigrants have since moved into the area in recent years. Murray Hill is often confused with the larger Murray Hill neighborhood on the East Side of Manhattan.

Before the area was developed for residential housing in 1889, Murray Hill was the location of several large nurseries owned by the King, Murray, and Parsons families. The neighborhood is served by both the Murray Hill and Broadway stations on the Long Island Rail Road's Port Washington Branch, offering service to the Woodside station and to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan.

Its approx. adjacent neighborhood boundaries, running in a clockwise direction, are 32nd Avenue in the north beyond which is Bowne Park, Utopia Parkway in the east beyond which is Bayside; 46th. Avenue in the south beyond which is East Flushing and so to 149th Street in the west beyond which is greater part of Flushing proper.
