It will be one of the biggest parks and the country’s first fully solar powered one.
The sprawling park, spread over 376 acres in Gomti Nagar Extension, has being developed at a cost of Rs 170 crore. The park has a huge lake and water body at the centre spread over 40-45 acres. It’s hydrological and geological plan has been prepared by IIT-Kanpur. The architectural and development blueprint has been drafted by the prestigious New Delhi-based School of Planning and Architecture.
It was inaugurated on 05/08/2014 at 10.00 AM by UP Chief Minister while its foundation stone was laid on 05/08/2012, both dates being the birth anniversary of Janeshwar Mishra.

About the Land :
This is earstwhile 'Vyom Khand' area where allotees of plots were offered flats instead, in 'Greenwoods' apartments after cancellation of plot - allotment by LDA.
