This area is northern part of chhajjapur. Our longest serving Chairman Late Haji Hyat Mohd's ward/area. This area is culturally, politically and commercially very rich and very important. Jharkhand Mahadev Mandir, Ghooran Shah Baba Shrine & Graveyard, Machhlipul Gurudwara shows its richness of culture that has evolved over the years. Commercially at one side you can find powerlooms, another side Haqqani Market is home for many people (weavers, farmers and merchants). A number of goods transport facility is also available.

Being at the bank of Saryu, it is having its own advantages and disadvantages. It has very good scenic beauty as well as a good place for extra curricular activities. Due to its strategic location, people are sports loving and have good bunch of talent in various cases. Panama Football Club, Diamond Cricket Club etc are a few to name as examples. Also a bad part is that a lot of garbage is dumped everyday from here in Saryu.
As a whole a very nice place to live in. As i am from same area, it always be good for me.. :-) :-)
