Paterson Pass Fake Freeway Overcrossing "Matrix Reloaded" (Alameda, California)

site of the load bearing bridge constructed from steel beams, plywood and plaster (not reinforced concrete!) used in several scenes in the freeway chase in "Matrix Reloaded", it's where the Twins car explodes & Trinity jumps off and also used as backdrop for the leap frog scene, location depicted from photos since there are no marks on the concrete but the off-ramp grading limits are still visible on the eastside, note that in one scene where Morpheus is shown from the side holding the sword there is no barrier on the bridge but in the next scene the barrier is back, Paterson Pass was a reference to production designer Owen Paterson, Google Earth has a history image from 10/30/2002 with the road layout better visible but the aerial photo didn't catch the structures since they were already removed
