  you don't want to live here- the homeowners association has extraneous guidelines but doesn't respond to the immense lack of problems under their responsibility. a section in the fence behind the last row of houses allows entrance to many wild animals, such as raccoons and possums for the last few years and management has lacked competence and rationale in dealing with the problem. the basketball court is also continually trashed with beer bottles because of immature college students who live near the tennis court and yet still, hoa persists on pestering residents with having hoses in the front yard.

  Despite the negative words shared by "Hal", I find this neighborhood very nice to live in. It is very quiet no matter the time of day, includes sufficient parking for visitors/extra cars, and is ridiculously close to EVERY type of store or service you need except for a typical drug store and a garage for your car(s). There is a park nearby to play sports and trails to run on, but I have yet to find a nice bike trail free of cracks and pot holes other than the distant W&OD trail. Bottom line: The Greens of Fair Lakes are a great place to start a family before you can afford a single family home.
