Townhouse and Apartment condominium development constructed on former Department of National Defense Army Ordnance Depot lands.

Army Ordnance Depot

In 1952, the Department of National Defence opened Central Command No. 15 Regional Ordnance Depot to supply military stores and equipment to the Kingston and London areas. The 38 ac. property was home to the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and grew to include 23 buildings including warehouses, workshops, a power plant and ammo storage facilities and employed approximately 340 army and civilian personnel.

In 1968, the Army vacated the property, demolished most of the buildings and transfered the land to the Department of Public Works Canada. Subsequently, purchased by Canada Post which utilized the land until 1996, the property was sold to Goldlist Construction in 1999 which commenced construction of townhouses and apartment buildings in 2001.
