There is now a PASC (Public Advice and Service Centre) at Collier Row library providing advice on Council Tax & Benefits, Housing Benefits, Freedom Passes, Trading Standard issues, Environmental Health, JobNet, Havering College and Age Concern.
This service provides advice only on Council Tax and Housing Benefit enquiries. The Service is available for appointments only Monday and Friday between 0930 hrs and 1630 hrs but also offers the chance of a Drop-In service on a Tuesday and Thursday between 0900 hrs and 1700 hrs. Please be aware that if you attend the centre on a Tuesday or Thursday there may be a waiting time which is why you have the option for an appointment only service on a Monday and Friday. The Advice Centre also operates the following services :
Trading Standards attend the centre every Tuesday between 10:00 to 12:30.
Age Concern Dementia Service attend every 2nd Thursday of the month between 10:00 and 12:00.
Barking College attend every 1st Thursday of the month between 10:00 and 14:00.
Havering College attend every 3rd Thursday of the month between 12:00 and 17:00.
