The Fascinating Village has ever been associated with a rich tradition of hospitality, exotic cuisine and architectural grandeur. Saifai attained unparalleled heights of excellence in art, craft and culture during the period of Mughals. Saifai Mahotsava is organized every year in the month of December/ January to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Saifai. This year, it will be organized from 16th December to 29th December, 2010 at Saifai.

Started in 1997 by the Then Block Pramukh of Saifai Late MR. RANVIR SINGH YADAV and few his Colleages at the local level in Saifai. Basic aim was to promote the local talent and for entertainment of the village people as there were many "“MELAS” organised in near by villages. It had started to to attract a large crowed after small initial start and was gaining acknwledgement in nearby districts.

Due to sudden death of its FOUNDER MR. RANVIR SINGH YADAV in the year 2002, It was halted for a year and in the year 2003 DHARMENDRA YADAV (M.P.) was elected as the president of the committee the mela was renamed as “RANVIR SINGH SMRITI SAIFAI MAHOTSAV". Since then it has taken a huge form and and is famous nationally and Internationally. All the major Bollywood star here performed here in the past few years likes of Gulam Ali,Akshay Kumar and other celebrities have performed over here.

This year we are planning to have there are other attractions such as Kavi Sammelan & Mushayara which attract large gathering. The Mahotsava also provides a platform to upcoming talented artists and venue for sportsmen to revive traditional sports and events like cricket match, Cycle race, Car rally etc.
