The church was built before the end of the XIX century with donations from the local Greeks and was initially named after Sts. Constantine and Helena. In 1903 it was destroyed, but in 1909 it was rebuilt and took the name of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius. Unique in it is the carved iconostasis – the work of one of the last Strandzha carvers Pandil, made in 1908.
