This place is established for a special memorial to Shree Vashisth M. Tiwari who was assasinated in December 1978 through the conspiracy woven by local Chor and Mafias. The campaign to immortalize the memory of Vashisth has begun in 1988 and coninued since then. It is a monument of brortherly love that possesses the physical, mental and spiritual texture promoting ideals needed to unite Indian society. A major movement (Science and Nationality Campaign) springing from Vashisthnagar has resulted the removal of a Mafia Sargana from Indian political system. This also seems to form the beginning of decriminalization of the current political system in eastern Uttar Pradesh. A quarter century of political decay has caused much harm to the social fabric of this area that has been marginalized and impoverished from the time of Moughal and British rules. There appears to be hope rebuilding as people become more scientifically awrare and ask Kya, Kab, Kahan, Kaise, Kitane aur Kyon. Vashisthnagar is also the place where "Om, Genome and Heredity", a healty way to look at the Indian caste system started. Recently, in Vashisthnagar, one of a kind institution in the entire world is in making. As Bhartiya Vigyan Peeth, this institution should help the rural communities for their material, physical, mental and spritual progress.
