This place is now being used as a Rest House, to use it need prior permission from the forest conservator from Olavakkode and then Fees need to be paid at the D.F.O. at Mannarkad.The rent for unofficial vist is Rs 500 per Head and a max of upto 8 persons.Food if bought can be cooked at the place. The place runs on Solar Power and the garden around is frequented by wild animals like Elephants,Leopards,Panther,Deer,Bear etc.Its a very nice place to stay and area comes under attapadi where liquor consumption and sale are prohibited.The banks of the reservoir, the drinking spots for wild animals.The Bungalow over looks another treckking spot known as Muthikkulam and its associated water falls.Its a serene place ideal for meditation and all u can listen to is the rumbling branches in the wind and sounds made by animails.An area which will captivate you... always.
