Coimbatore: The National Adventure Federation (NAF), Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Unit, organised a water sports adventure on the Sulur lake from January 4 to 6.

The event was organised in association 5 Base Repair Depot of India Air Force. The programme was for the air warriors of Sulur Air Base with kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing and sailing during morning and evening hours.

The camp was also aimed at helping the Sulur Panchayat and tourist office, Coimbatore, to showcase the potential of Sulur lake as the future adventure water sports centre, given its short distance from the city and easy accessibility.
