The Antonio Moran Wind Farm is located in and around Comodoro Rivadavia, in the province of Chubut, Argentina.
It was built in 3 phases: phase 1 (1994) consists of 2 Micon M530 (250-kW) turbines; phase 2 (1997) consists of 8 NEG Micon NM44/750 turbines; phase 3 (2001) consists of 15 Gamesa G47/660 turbine (originally 16, one 'fell down' in 2018).
Phases 1 (2 Micons), 2 (8 NEG Micons) and part of phase 3 (8 Gamesas) are all located in the same location about 10 km straight west of downtown Comodoro Rivadavia. The rest of phase 3 (7 Gamesas) are located at 3 different locations in the north of Comodoro Rivadavia.
The combined nominal generating capacity of all 25 turbines is 16.4 MW.
