treasure, cave(s), excavation, interesting place, do not draw title
Or more accurately, the Money Pit area. It is said to hide untold fortunes from all over the world. Treasure hunters have tried since 1795 to excavate the pit in the hopes of finding treasure. They have met with a series of intentionally constructed "booby traps" designed to flood the bit with ocean water and prevent anyone from fining the treasure. To date no treasure has been located, and six men have died in the pursuit. The legendary curse says a seventh must die before the treasure can be found.
Speculation about the origins treasure extends from early Scandinavians to ancient Jews to Spanish explorers to the Knights Templar. Speculation about what the treasure is extends from gold coin to the arc of the covenant and the Holy Grail.
