A regional park home to the largest lake in the lower mainland and its many resident and migratory birds.
Lake used to have a rowing course, and occasional float plane landings in a cleared section.
The lake is still filling in and eutrophying. Outlet is Brunette River to New Westminster. Various creeks lead in, including Still Creek from Vancouver, Deer Lake creek.
The park hosts a lake perimeter trail system with many beautiful park visitor viewing areas.
