133-foot, 12-story modernist residential building completed in 2001. Designed by Schuman, Lichtenstein, Claman & Efron, it was originally called The Foundry. The facades are clad in red brick, and there is a rounded southeast corner with black metal-framed windows wrapping around it at the ground floor. The main entrance is to the left, near the east end of the south facade, with a revolving door and a traditional glass door. A rounded black metal canopy covers the entrance and also wraps around the corner. To the west the ground floor has five segmental-arched bays, the middle and outer ones wider. They have glass-and-metal infill, three of them also with service doors, and the west end bay has an entrance to the underground parking garage.
The 2nd-6th floors have 12 window bays, plus the rounded bay at the east end, which has bands of seven panes wrapping around each floor. The next bay to the west is a double-window, followed by a triple-window with a short side pane leading back into a 2-bay recessed section. These two bays have double-window, and then there is a corresponding side panes back out to the regular building line at a tripartite window. Next are a double-window, two tripartite windows, a double-window, and another tripartite window with a short side pane leading back to another recessed section at the west end; this one also has two double-windows. The main brick piers have thin, horizontal brick lines, and there are exposed floorplates, as well as metal air-conditioning vents below the windows in each bay.
There is a setback above the 6th floor. The 7th-12th floors have similar windows at the rounded corner bay, followed by a double-window, a single-window, a double-window, three single-windows, a band of five window panes, and three more single-windows before a gap and a triple-window with a short side pane leading back to a recessed end section with a single-window and a tripartite window.
The east facade on the avenue has, to the north of the rounded corner bay, five large segmental-arches at the ground floor, each with metal-and-glass storefronts, and a smaller round-arched end bay. The upper floors have two tripartite windows at the south end next to the rounded corner, with the second one having narrow side panes leading back to a recessed section of two double-windows. Further north are six bays of tripartite windows, the first one having a corresponding side pane, and the last one having another side pane at the north end, with a final, recessed end bay of double-windows. The setback from the south facade continues around the corner onto this facade, and the set-back top floors have (from south to north) a single-window, a double-window, five tripartite windows, a double-window with a narrow side pane leading back to the set-back north end section that has a single-window and a tripartite window.
The building contains 164 apartment units. The ground-floor storefronts are occupied by D'Agostino grocery store, and a Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins.
