A residential neighbourhood in western part of Kaunas, a part of Aleksotas elderate positioned along the left bank of river Nemunas. The central street of the neighbourhood - Marvelės street - is very narrow and bumpy, hence in 2008 a new Nemunas promenade was opened to direct the traffic around the neighbourhood. A water purification plant was also built controversially in the area despite the protests of local inhabitants.
