This is the premier co-educational Institution of Higher learning in education of the state of Uttar Pradesh, catering at present approximately more than 18500 boys and girls in 30 different disciplines of five faculties namely: Arts, Science, Commerce, Law and Education.
It was established in July 1951 and is affiliated to Dr RML Avadh University, Faizabad.

  • It is the largest and best in UPE, It is graded B++ by NAAC,UGC.Nearly there are all arts ,science, commerce in UG , PG.There is law, LLM, M Ed, and many professional courses,computer course etc.Research activities go here at good pace,better than many state universities. I am one, among the teachers,a product of Allahabad University. I do my work on neurosecretion and seribiotechnology.
