Maamigili is an inhabited island on the southern rim of Ari Atoll, Maldive Islands. Administratively it is part of Alifu Dhaalu Atoll division. It is the most populous of the islands in the division, with 2,211 inhabitants. There is a deep sea port on the eastern end of the island, and on the southern side, the lagoon has been reclaimed, allowing the construction of an airport, which is expected to be completed and in use in 2013.
