Cass Technical High School is a four-year college-preparatory high school. The school is named in honor of Lewis Cass, an American military officer and politician who served as governor of the Michigan Territory from 1813 until 1831. The school is a part of Detroit Public Schools. High School that Motown Singer Diana Ross attended as well as actress Lilly Tomlin. It was replaced in 2006 with a newer school one block north. The old school building has been demolished.
Now it's a fenced in lot.
