The Belovo (Belovska) Basilica (aka Golyamobelovski Monastery Ascension of Christ) is one of the best preserved early Christian churches in Bulgaria. It is located among the Northwest slopes of Rhodope Mountains, on the St. Spas (Spasovitsa) Hill, 10 km south of Belovo and about 1.5 km south-east of the village of Golyamo Belovo (Belovo Municipality, Pazardzhik Province).
