"Pancha Ganga Ghat" which is one of the five water-front sacred most sites, and believed To be the meeting point of five streams, viz. The Ganga, the Yamuna, the Sarswati, the Kirana and the Dhutpapa. This is also the place where "Alamgir Mosque" was built by Mughal ruler Aurangzeb on the site after destroying a large Vishnu temple erected by the Maratha chieftain Beni Madhur Rao Scindia . Now the Hindu temple is shrunk to a smaller temple!
