  • Basti Railway Station- Hummmm. It's close to my heart as I would travel almost every day for three years, to go to College in Khalilabad during Eighty's. Particularly the railway track curve between Basti Railway Station and Govind nagar ( near Panday Bazar Railway Crossing) is beautiful. I don't know , how the station looks now, must have developed and become too busy, but during those day, the station use to be very quite after trains departs and we use to wait in waiting rooms for hours for our train. Memories does not fade. it's unforgettable . Next time, when I visit India, certainly will go to the Basti Ralway Station to see if any of railway staff or vendors still there from those day, as it's almost 35 long years has been passed. The book shop use to be our favorite place to stand and ready the new papers and books. Good Luck all the commuters of Railway Station, Basti- Arjumand Abid.
