The three story, 43,219 sq. ft., limestone building was constructed in 1936 on a 0.47 ac. site. It was designed by architects Rhines Bellman & Nordhoff in the Art Deco Moderne style for industrialist Clement O. Miniger, the founder of Electric Auto-Lite Co. The building was, at one time. the home to Smith Cafeteria and WTOL-TV.
