The Linumer ponds are located about 50 km northwest of Berlin in the village of Linum in the state of Brandenburg. The ponds have a combined area of approximately 300 ha with a different intensity of use. The areas around the wastelands and natural ponds are currently standing under Contractual grassland. They also have special significance for migratory birds as a latching face. In an EU-Life project there's the reintroduction of mud turtle, fire-bellied toad and crested newt is driven forward.
