Kidwais of Baragaon

This is the ancestoral house of the Kidwais of Baragaon. The building was started in 1885 and was built in phases. The residents were involved in the freedom movement. Jawaharlal Nehru visited it and stayed in this house during his election campaign in 1946, a year before India gained Independence from the British rule.
