Estate residence originally part of the Jackson Farm which was converted to a country residence c. 1906 in the Dutch Colonial style for Thomas Leeming. It was later owned by Walter Gibb {merchant} who had alterations done on the house. Gibb served as a partner of the Frederick Loeser & Co. Department Store.
