Site of Army Air Defense Command Post (AADCP) from 1960 to 1966. Controlled the Dyess Defense Area's 2 Nike-Hercules sites (DY-10, DY-50). AADCP was co-located in this building with USAF's 683rd AC&W squadron operations. Army used AN/CSG-5 Battery Integration and Radar Display Equipment (BIRDIE) in conjunction with Air Force AN/FPS-67B and AN/FPS-90 radars. USAF tenure was 1956-1969.
