Zhdanovi (Georgian: ჟდანოვი, former Zhdanovakani), a village in the Ninotsminda municipality of the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia. It is located 20 km southeast of the town of Ninotsminda, on the shores of Lake Madatapa, near the Georgian-Armenian border, at 2130 m above sea level. According to 2014 data, the village had 393 inhabitants, mostly Armenians (Armenian-Catholics). The village has a secondary school, an aid station, a club, a library and a veterinary clinic. In 1830, the ancestors of the inhabitants migrated from Kylli village of Mush province of Western Armenia to Heshtia village of Ninotsminda, from where several families moved in 1929 and founded Zhdanovakan.
