  • Historically called Ağbaba, these territories belong to turks. However speech of turks lived in Ağbaba is closer to modern azerbaijanis' speech than modern turks living in western Turkey. Similar speech belongs to turks living in eastern Turkey, mainly in Kars. I was born in Amasia and lived there until 1988, when armenians arranged for massive deportation of turks to Azerbaijan. Once the deportation is completed armenians started changing historical turkic names into armenian names. Below are some examples of such changes: formerly Mağaracıq [Magharajig] - recently Gdashen formerly Əzizbəyov (Qaraçanta) [Azizbayov (Garachanta)] - recently Aregnadem formerly Oxçuoğlu [Okhchuoghlu] - recently Vokhchi, etc. Deportation of turks in 1988 was the last one (previously deportations of turks were happened in 1930th years, 1950th and 1960th years) and the region was fully cleared from turks.
  • "these territories belong to turks"?????, the nomads can be everywhere and often live at the expense of others, and then steal the history and culture of other nations. In fact, they do not have the history and the historical name of the area. This is the "gratitude" for what we have given them to live among us. The historical name of "Ağbaba'' fuuu, , don't make my laugh, and do not disgrace yourself with knowledge of history. Learn the real story, unless of course the descendants of wild and dirty nomads are capable of it.
  • Amasya Belonged to ancient pontus. So basically it should belong to turks now
  • This district was the historical territory of Azerbaijan.
