Founded in 1973, under the name of Entreprise for Chemical Equipment Borzesti (IUC), UTON company was initially created as a supplier of equipment for the chemical and petrochemical industries.
The evolution of the company meant the diversification of its products and markets and the application of an efficient management together with the recognized skills of the employees, made UTON become one of the main suppliers of equipment in Romania.
Today the company has a paid-in capital of 4.145.302 lei, which is entirely private.

The main products existing in the company's portofolio are the heat exchangers, pressure vessels (reactors, LPG storage tanks, columns), skid mounted process equipment, hot water and steam boilers, process pipelines. Beside all these, our customers enjoy our designing and consultancy services, on site assembly, repairings.
The company is placed on a total area of 66.599 sqm, out of which 33.307 sqm built area and has a staff of 700 employees - engineers, technicians and skilled workers.

UTON meets the most rigorous industrial standards, being authorized to build equipment according to the most important international norms in the field.
