The MacArthur townhouses are located in the eastern housing area of the Presidio along a cul-de-sac that ends at the El Polin Spring picnic area. This neighborhood consists of 4-bedroom townhouses in duplex and 4-plex buildings constructed in 1966. Each apartment has a fenced-in storage area and semi-private outdoor space. Though this area is wooded and serene, it is quite convenient to Pacific Heights and the Marina District.
