Point Richmond, also sometimes referred to locally as The Point, is a neighborhood in Richmond, California.

Within Point Richmond is the Point Richmond Historic District. This district consists of hundreds of homes which were built around the late 1890s when the San Francisco and San Joaquin Valley Railway occupied 57 acres of land in the area that is now the neighborhood downtown of Point Richmond. **EDITORS NOTE: I was unable to map out the specific area of the historic zone due to the location "already being tagged".
