The Embassy of Canada to the Holy See represents Canadian interests as well as contributes to a better understanding of Canada in the Holy See.

Official diplomatic relations between Canada and the Holy See were established in 1969. However working relations date from 1899 when the Holy See established an Apostolic Delegation in Ottawa.
