  • This shopping center in 1975 when the Mall was built had Dillards , Skillerns Drug store , Krogers , M.E. Moses 5 & 10 , Foleys , The Chateau Movie Theater and numerous little great stores . The mall killed it and now it's an eye sore. Of course the whole area has changed for the worse. Too bad but that's life and time.
  • I remember this place in the 80's. I recall that shops like ME Moses, 5 & Dime stores, a toy store, a jewelry store, an optometrist, then came the fazios and Zacks Arts and Crafts. I will never forget the murder of Patricia Garcia at the photo kiosk in 1988. I still wonder if they every caught the person responsible. The whole area has gone down now. Too bad. Irving has never reached it's potential. The mall is terrible. Even Las Colinas is starting to go down hill. I walked down the Mandalay Canal recently and recalled what it looked like in the 80's. It is heartbreaking to see it now.
