From the good old days of railroading now the remains of years of decay you can see the platform entrance tunnels covered over by metal grates
Passengers arriving at the station would disembark onto one of several 19 foot wide platforms with stairways leading to a 40 ft wide by 8 ft. high passageway underneath the train shed to the station. The train shed over the tracks was 250 feet wide by 1,104 feet long and incorporated skylights. In 2000 the train sheds were demolished to permit the site to be utilized as an intermodal facility
