"Rozov Kladenets" is a reservoir in southeastern Bulgaria with volume - 20.4 mln. cubic meter, located near the town of Galabovo, Stara Zagora region. It was built in the period 1957-1960 with the main purpose of cooling the turbines of TPP (thermal power plant) Maritsa East 1 and TPP Maritsa East 3. Therefore, the temperature of the water is relatively constant and relatively high even in winter. The fact that the water does not freeze in winter makes the dam a particularly attractive place for waterfowl.
