The landlord and landlady are descendents of the ex-Jagirdar of Jubbulpore riyasat (Rajmaan-Rajeshri Sardar-Beohar Rajendra Simha ju). Village Bhiloda was a part of the Jubbulpore riyasat comprising of more than 184 townships and villages. Bhiloda was one of their Malguzari villages while others were Jagirdari towns. Some 150 years back, it was granted to Rajmaan-Rajeshri Sardar-Beohar Daryao Simha ju by the then ruling Bhonslay dynasty of Nagpur. The title of "Sardar-Beohar" was granted by the descendents of Maharani Durgawati of the Gondwana dynasty to the ancestor Rajmaan-Rajeshri Sardar-Beohar Kehari Simha ju in mid 18th century (circa 1750 CE) for the family's astounding hold on local masses. Although they have farmhouses here, the Beohar family is now based and operates from the historic Beohar House situated on Beohar Raghuvir Sinha Road in Beohar Bagh (Civil Lines N) Jabalpur.
