Built in 1929 as the J.C. Penney Warehouse, later the Edison Brothers Shoe Company. Converted to a mixed-use complex in 2001, with the Sheraton St. Louis City Center Hotel on the lower floors and the Edison Condominiums occupies the upper floors. The hotel left Sheraton in 2014 and was unbranded until 2018, when it became a Red Lion. It closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and reopened in 2022 as the OYO Hotel, it is set to be renovated at a cost of $45 million and will once again be a Sheraton.
