The palace of Bronze-Age Mycenae. Part of the palace complex was located under the ruined later temples to the north, and was probably destroyed by these subsequent building projects. Since the surviving parts of the palace apparently served for public functions, the lost portions to the north probably included the private and servant dwellings and storage magazines.
