One of the most spectacular waterfalls in all of BC and the highlight of the "Park of Waterfalls", Helmcken Falls plunges 141 metres over a lava lip into a steep canyon. In winter, a massive ice cone builds up at the bottom of the falls.
Helmcken is commonly declared to be Canada's 4th highest falls, but actually there are dozens that are higher (see www.worldwaterfalldatabase.com/ ).
